“Over the course of the last decade I’ve been working with Viva Engineering.

We engaged in the design detailing, fabrication, fabrication sub-contractor management as well as site construction with Viva Engineering for a Bulk Materials handling project for a Uranium mine. They did a stellar job of adhering to the stringent fabrication, quality and especially corrosion protection requirements of the roughly 3000 ton of steelwork and associated supply.

Where Viva really added value was in partnering through the changes that happen during the course of such projects and ensuring that those are handled commercially, contractually and professionally.
Through all projects over the decade I continued to see that commitment, dedication and professionalism both in my direct role as Project Manager and subsequent Projects Director
and Head of Sub-Saharan Region in Mining Systems roles.

Issues will arise in projects but character is shown in how they are resolved. Viva had been a fabrication and construction partner for us as Sandvik Mining Systems and through our transition into FLSmidth.”
